How tiptok works
tiptok is a fee bridge. A pump.fun coin names a TikTok creator, its creator fees accrue to tiptok's pump.fun fee account, and the dollars are forwarded to that creator as TikTok Video Gifts. The creator never signs up.

creator feetiptok never holds the coin, only the fee on its way to a Video Gift
1Overview
pump.fun charges a creator fee on every trade and pays it to the coin's on-chain creator. tiptok sets that creator to a wallet reserved for the TikTok handle you choose. That is the entire trick: the fee is native to pump.fun, the recipient is the creator, and nothing is routed through a contract of ours.
Everything after that is mechanical. Fees accrue as the coin trades, an hourly job collects them and credits the handle in dollars, and once the balance clears $1.00 it becomes one queued Video Gift. Every step prints a paper receipt, and every $20.00 of lifetime fees prints another.
- 1
Someone launches a coin for @handle
Name, ticker, image, and the TikTok handle. The launcher pays pump.fun’s normal costs.
- 2
Fees routed on pump.fun’s own rails
In the same wallet approval you sign pump.fun’s fee-sharing config for the coin, with one shareholder at 100%: the tiptok fee wallet 22s9XTnCPyMbzAMqeDhhtQ89smuhXNJW4Uv2zdqxCqtd. It lands before any trade, is locked, and pump.fun shows it on the coin.
- 3
Fees accrue on-chain
100% of the creator fee from every buy and sell flows to that account.
- 4
The hourly sweep credits dollars
The SOL is moved to the treasury, the rate is frozen, the handle’s balance grows.
- 5
A Video Gift is sent
Coins on one of the creator’s videos; they land as Diamonds and cash out like LIVE gifts.
2Launching a coin
You enter a TikTok @handle plus the usual coin fields and an optional first buy. The server tags the coin with that handle, pins the metadata, and builds a pump.fun create_v2 transaction plus a fee-sharing config that pays 100% to the tiptok fee wallet 22s9…Cqtd. Your wallet approves both at once; the server sends the split before any buy.
| off | len | field | note |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0 | 8 | discriminator | create_v2 |
| 8 | 4+n | name | utf-8 |
| .. | 4+n | symbol | utf-8 |
| .. | 4+n | uri | IPFS metadata |
| .. | 32 | creator | the launcher; fees are routed to the tiptok wallet next |
| .. | 1+8 | creator_fee_bps | optional |
The creator is part of the instruction data, not just the account list, and the program copies it onto the bonding curve. After the coin page loads we read the curve back and show “fee redirect verified” only when the stored creator matches that account. Coins launched before the switch name the handle's own reserved wallet instead and verify against that.
- Venue
- pump.fun on Solana mainnet
- Creator field
- The launcher’s wallet, then migrated to the coin’s fee-sharing config
- Fee routing
- pump.fun fee-sharing config, sole shareholder the tiptok fee wallet 22s9…Cqtd at 100%, locked. Signed in the same approval; the server refuses any other split
- First buy
- Optional; sent as a third transaction after the fee routing lands
- What you pay
- pump.fun’s standard create and trade fees. Those are pump.fun’s, not ours
- Same handle again
- Fine. Every coin tipping a handle pays into the same vault
3Where the fees go
pump.fun accrues creator fees into a program-owned vault keyed by the creator address. Before graduation the pump program collects; after graduation the pump-amm program pays into its coin-creator vault. Both are read together, so a coin keeps paying its creator across the graduation.
- To the creator
- 100% of the creator fee, from the first trade
- Fee wallet
- 22s9XTnCPyMbzAMqeDhhtQ89smuhXNJW4Uv2zdqxCqtd; paid on each distribution, then forwarded per handle
- tiptok’s share
- None. We take nothing from creator fees
- tiptok coin
- There is none. Any coin claiming to be ours is not
- Counted as paid
- From the moment it is generated: fees belong to the creator whether swept yet or not
- Shown on the coin page
- “Paid” = swept dollars plus what is still in the vault at the live SOL price
4The hourly sweep
Fees do not arrive continuously in dollars; they sit in the vault as SOL. At the top of every hour a job collects each handle's vault and moves the whole balance to the treasury in one transaction. The fee wallet signs the collect, the treasury co-signs and pays the network fee, so a vault never needs its own SOL for gas.
Cron 0 * * * * · one transaction per handle

Vaults under 0.001 SOL are skipped and keep growing. The SOL/USD rate at sweep time is frozen on the receipt; the balance is credited in dollars.
The SOL/USD rate at that moment is frozen onto a receipt and the dollar value is credited to the handle. Vaults under 0.001 SOL are left to grow rather than spent on transaction fees. A sweep can fail; a failed sweep credits nothing and is retried next hour, and the fees stay in the vault meanwhile.
5Getting paid in TikTok
Creators never log in and never hold a wallet. Money reaches them as TikTok Video Gifts, landing in the same balance their LIVE gifts do. When a handle's balance clears $1.00, the whole balance becomes one queued gift: dollars ÷ $0.0106 per Coin, floored to whole Coins.
- Sent as
- 2,358 Coins
- $0.0106 each, floored
- Lands as
- 2,358 Diamonds
- $0.005 each
- Creator receives
- $11.79
- TikTok keeps $13.20
Clears the $1.00 floor: the whole balance becomes one queued gift.
- 1
Queue
Balance ≥ $1.00 → one gift row, frozen at today’s Coin price.
- 2
Send
tiptok sends the Video Gift on one of the creator’s videos.
- 3
Confirm
The gift is marked sent with the video link, which prints on the receipt.
- 4
Cash out
Coins land as Diamonds. The creator withdraws to PayPal or a bank from TikTok’s balance screen.
6TikTok's cut
A Coin costs $0.0106; TikTok pays creators $0.005 per Diamond, and one Coin gifted becomes one Diamond. So roughly half of every gift stays with TikTok. That is TikTok's cut, not ours, and it is printed on every receipt, profile and queue entry rather than folded into a “net” number.
- Coin price
- $0.0106 (what the treasury pays TikTok)
- Diamond value
- $0.005 (what TikTok pays the creator)
- Conversion
- 1 Coin gifted → 1 Diamond received
- Worked example
- $100.00 in fees → 9,433 Coins → $47.17 to the creator, $52.82 kept by TikTok
- Fees tiptok adds
- None
7Receipts and milestones
Every money event prints a paper receipt with a number, a barcode and the frozen rate: one per sweep, one per gift, and one every $20.00 of lifetime creator fees. Milestone receipts are how a creator's coins keep showing progress between gifts, and each step is printed exactly once no matter how often the page is viewed.
Receipt #1 at $20.00, #2 at $40.00, #3 at $60.00 — each printed once, never twice.

8Custody and keys
Reserved fee wallets are created and signed through Privy's server wallets. Their private keys never touch our servers or database; we store the wallet address and a Privy wallet id mapped to the handle. The only transaction a fee wallet ever signs is the hourly sweep to the treasury.
- Fee wallets
- Privy server wallets, one per handle, keys never exported
- Treasury
- The float that buys TikTok Coins. Co-signs every sweep
- Ledger
- Every handle’s dollar balance kept separate; gifts debit only that handle
9Held gifts and eligibility
Eligibility is TikTok's: Personal account, 18+, 10,000+ followers, in a supported region, with Video Gifts turned on in Creator Tools. If TikTok will not accept a gift, it is marked held with the reason, the dollars stay in the creator's balance, and it is re-queued the day they turn Video Gifts on.
Handles are matched case-insensitively. If a creator renames their TikTok account, the fees stay with the handle the coins were launched to; the handle a coin is tagged for cannot follow a rename.
10FAQ
- Does the creator need to do anything before I launch?
- No. The wallet is reserved automatically and fees accrue from the first trade. To receive a gift they need Video Gifts turned on in TikTok; until then the balance is held for them.
- Can I launch a coin for a handle that already has coins?
- Yes. All coins tipping the same handle pay into the same wallet and the same balance.
- What if I typo the handle?
- The creator is permanent on-chain. Check the live preview before signing; the handle you see there is the one that gets paid.
- Why is the coin page’s “Paid” bigger than the gifts sent?
- Because fees are the creator’s the moment they are generated. Paid counts everything generated; gifts show what has already been converted and sent.
- Is this affiliated with TikTok or pump.fun?
- No. TikTok is only the rail the gifts travel on; pump.fun is the launchpad and market.
